The sports business festival
For the future of sports

Europe's biggest

sportsbusiness conference.

30.– 31. January 2019

More stages and topics for the future of sports >

Pre-Opener, Captain's dinner, awards and SPOBIS party >

New area, new partners, new target groups >

One main stage is to become three! In 2018, SPOBIS SUMMIT events will take place on a total of three main stages for the first time. Allowing us to offer the 2,000 SUMMIT participants more major topics, decision-makers and formats than ever before. Over 20 masterclasses will also be held on the two festival days.

All programme events will consider the future of sport, with a special focus on the aspects of digital transformation and internationalisation.

Countless opportunities for individual meetings and two major get-togethers guarantee SUMMIT participants excellent networking opportunities.

In future, the SPOBIS is to be more than just a series of presentations and discussions rounds with networking in the evening. We wish to diversify and to develop different formats together with our partners: for networking, conceiving ideas and also having fun together.

These can take place in the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf or elsewhere in the city. The formats of SPOBIS SIDE EVENTS range from speed networking and exclusive invitation-only events such as the Captain's dinner and Pre-Opener to the SPOBIS party.

Interested in holding your own SIDE EVENT during the SPOBIS? Then please do not hesitate to contact us. We’re gladly on hand to advise.

With the SPOBIS EXPO, a whole new area will be offered in 2018! The existing exhibition area will be significantly expanded, with a new EXPO area focusing on companies devoted to the future of sport. These will include everything from global players to start-ups.

Beside interactive formats such as speed networking and open presentations, one further innovation will be an EXPO stage for 1,000 participants.

Tickets for the EXPO cost from 35 euros. This will open up the SPOBIS to a new target group comprising young professionals, clubs, associations and start-ups. SUMMIT participants are naturally also able to access the SPOBIS EXPO.
